Welcome to our recap of music and Word from Sunday, March 15, 2015. We have been working through a series of sermons called "Forty Days to the Cross," where we look at the last few weeks of Jesus' life before he fulfilled his earthly mission. Below you will find some of the elements of our service, including links to some of the music and the sermon.
Worship Through Song
King Jesus comes, King Jesus,
Son of God, Son of Man, Messiah.
Hail! King Jesus, King of all!
Recall the words of the Scriptures:
“A great crowd who had come to the feast
heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem.
So they took branches of palm trees
and went out to meet him, crying, ‘Hosanna!
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord,
even the King of Israel!’”
In praise we adore you, King Jesus.
Enter our hearts today
as you entered Jerusalem long ago,
and lead us by faith in the way everlasting. Amen.
And Jesus cried out and said, “Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but in him who sent me. And whoever sees me sees him who sent me. I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness. (John 12:44-46 ESV)
