As you know it's been a tumultuous week for our city. As the flood waters recede, there will be continued needs manifesting themselves and we will respond where we can, how we can and with what we can.
Tomorrow we will gather for worship as the people of God to refresh and reorient ourselves around eternity. What you will notice is that life doesn't stop happening just because we got flooded. No, the flood issues are piled on top of marriage struggles, prodigal children and life fatigue, so it's important that we nourish our souls in the midst of all that is swirling around us. If not, we will overheat and boil dry. The Bible says it this way, "Though outwardly we are wasting away, inwardly we are being renewed day by day."
Tomorrow is a chance for renewal.
We will have a regular schedule of services at 8:30, 10:00 and 11:30 with bible studies, preschool, children and youth at their normal schedules as well. Let's come together to receive what we will need for the days ahead.
