SHARING CHRIST'S LOVE WITH CHILDREN

Children's - Preschool Ministry logo

We count it a privilege to care for your children while you attend Bible study and worship.  Your preschoolers are important to us.  Our highest priority with preschoolers is to provide a safe, fun and caring environment where your children can play and learn.

We know that God established the family unit to nurture and guide a child from birth to maturity.  And our preschool ministry wants to come along side parents and help them accomplish this.  We offer your child a safe and caring environement with Bible teaching.  From the youngest children in the nursery to older preschoolers, we demonstrate God's love through loving responsive care and play.  Age-appropriate Bible teaching allows children to discover basic truths of God's unconditional love.  Our goal with preschoolers is to help parents provide a spiritual foundation so that as they grow they will know, love and follow Christ.  Click here for an overview of our Sunday Bible Lessons for Preschoolers.

Classes are provided for children birth-PreK during both worship/Bible community times on Sunday mornings on Wednesday nights during the Fall & Spring semesters.  You can find us in the hallway on the south side of the building at the Preschool Welcome Center.  Look for one of our friendly Preschool Hosts who can help you find the right place for your child.

SAFETY & SECURITY

For security purposes, we utilize a sticker system where one part of the completed tag is placed on your child and the other half is kept by the parent.  You will need to provide the matching portion of the security sticker in order for your child to be released from the classroom.  If you are needed prior to dismissal, we will use the three digit number located on that sticker to page you to the nursery.  Your number will be displayed ont he lighted call boxes that are located directly above the side exit doors on either side of the Worship Center.

Please inform your child's teacher or caregiver of information that may be helpful in caring for your child (eating schedule, sleeping positions, allergies, potty training or any special needs).

For the health and safety of all children and our volunteers, we have a Healthy Child Policy.  Please help us keep a safe environment by adhering to these guidelines.

WHAT TO BRING

For infants and younger preschoolers, we ask that you bring the following to help us care for your child:

  • two to three disposable diapers/pull-ups
  • complete change of clothes
  • bottle or cup of milk, juice or water

Please label all personal items (diaper bag, pacifiers, cups, bottles) with your child's first and last name.

JUST FOR PARENTS

For your convenience, a Baby Changing Station can be found in both the Men's Restroom and the Women's Restroom that are located downstairs near the lobby.

For your privacy in nursing or feeding your baby, a special room is available in the Women's Restroom located downstairs near the church lobby.  A TV monitor is provided so that you may hear and see the worship service in progress.
