ESL [Citywide]

ESL will not meet the following Mondays: December 25, January 1 & January 8. Classes will resume on January 15.

English as a Second Language is an English language study program for non-native speakers with small classes where students receive individual attention from their teachers. Students study English and participate in cultural and social activities of the community where they study. Grand Parkway provides these classes to those from a variety of countries to help improve their language skills and assist them in adjusting to their new culture.

The Summit: Fall Retreat is a gathering of 7–12 grade next-generation leaders. We’re going back to Pineywoods Camp in Woodlake. The Summit is designed for any student who wants to take their relationship with God and their leadership skills to the next level. This year we’ll talk about how the gospel influences our entire lives, including how we lead.

Arrive Friday afternoon/evening and leave Sunday morning by 9AM. High schoolers are welcome to attend with a parent/guardian. 

A few activities that will be available at retreat this year are: Pre-retreat golf outing, giant swing, high ropes course, shooting skeet/pistol/rifle range, watching football, volleyball & 3-on-3 basketball.
