NAME:

Wade Collier

THE BEST BOOK I HAVE READ LATELY:

Two noteworthy books that I just finished are Decision Making & the Will of God by Garry Friesen and The Age of American Unreason by Susan Jacoby

I EXPERIENCE GRAND PARKWAY TO BE:

A community of believers who value the Word of God and a church body integrating God's mandate for missional living as a foundation of who we are as the church as well as individuals.

I'M REALIZING IN THIS SEASON OF LIFE:

That God has called me to balance what he' s put before me, not juggle my to do list.  That being a father is the hardest and greatest thing I've ever tried to do.  That I'm a sore loser.  That my wife is so incredibly out of my league that it proves there is a sovereign God in heaven.

ON MY TIME OFF, CHANCES ARE YOU WILL FIND ME:

Spending time with my amazing wife Sally, and our beautiful daughter Sophie.  If we have extended time off, we're traveling, either locally or globally; we love to see and experience new places, food, people and more food.  Other than that, it's normally a combination of reading, mass amounts of coffee, good music, bad golf and lots of running & cycling; all preferably done outside.

What are you listening to these days?

Ben Taylor - "The Legend of Kung Folk", Jason Upton - "On The Rim of the Visible World", James Taylor - "October Road", Ray Lamontagne - "Till The Sun Turns Black" John Mayer - " Any Given Thursday" Roger Miller - "All Time Greatest Hits"

What's Captured your imagination lately?

Is it possible to reconcile the desire and call for social justice with the unchangeable justice wielding God?
