NAME:

Wade "Danger" Collier

THE BEST BOOKS I HAVE READ LATELY:

Why We Love the Church by De Young & Kluck

As Iron Sharpens Iron by Hendricks

God's Passion for His Glory by Piper

I EXPERIENCE GRAND PARKWAY TO BE:

My church.  I have a lot of friends on staff at churches that they wouldn't go to if they weren't on staff; I'm blessed that is not the case for me and my family.

I'M REALIZING IN THIS SEASON OF LIFE:

That one on one or one on seven time with students, beats a highly programmed event every time. That students are waiting for someone to raise the bar for them.  That without my wife, our house would be a pile of rubble and ash along with my heart... an "awwwwww" is in order here.

ON MY TIME OFF, CHANCES ARE YOU WILL FIND ME:

Spending time with my amazing wife Sally, and our beautiful daughter Sophie.  If we have extended time off, we're traveling, either locally or globally; we love to see and experience new places, food, people and more food.  Other than that, it's normally a combination of reading, mass amounts of coffee, good music, bad golf and lots of running & cycling; all preferably done outside.

What are you listening to these days?

Phosphorescent - "For Willie"

Ray LaMontagne - "God Willin & the Creek Don't Rise"

Justin Townes Earl - "The Good Life"

Jason Upton - "Beautiful People"

Mance Lipscomb - "Trouble in Mind"

What's Captured your imagination lately?

How is God calling Grand Parkway to be a light on a hill in Fort Bend?  What would it look like for our community to see us as a cornerstone?
