GPBC Kids Re-Opening Procedures

To keep your children safe while in our care, we have a strict process for checking in and out. Kids will receive a name tag, and only adults with the matching security tag will be allowed to pick them up.

Our Kids Building has secure doors to access hallways. Classroom teachers go through background checks, abuse awareness training, policy training, and CPR certification.
On your first visit, a hostess will help your family get checked in and find your classrooms. You will receive name tags for each child as well as a security sticker with a three-digit code that matches the tag.

Drop-off begins 15 minutes before the beginning of the 9:30am and 11am services. Please notify the classroom teacher of any allergies or special needs.
Ark At The Park

Ark at the Park is our ministry for babies through age 3. Kids will be rocked, prayed over, and played with while exploring the teachings of the Bible through play, music, and activities.

Rainbow Kids is our ministry for Pre-Kindergarteners and Kindergarteners. Kids learn scripture and explore the Bible through play, crafts, songs, and puppets.

Kids At The Park

Kids at the Park cares for the spiritual development of our 1st–4th graders. Each week, kids learn through large group teaching, small group discussion, music, and activities.

Kids’ Discipleship

Once your child has experienced conversion, he or she should follow in believer’s baptism. Please contact a pastor to arrange a meeting with you and your child to discuss the purpose of baptism and to determine if your child is ready for this next step.

We also offer a three-week discipleship class each spring for children in 1st–4th grade and their parents to help them understand the decision they have made and what it means to live a Christian life. Each week focuses on a new topic that includes daily homework and application activities.

We celebrate the commitment of parents to raise their children in the ways of God through an event called Parent/Child Dedication. During each dedication, we recognize the child as a gift from the Lord, celebrate the parents’ proclamation to do all they can to lead their child to know and believe the gospel, and commit as a church to support and partner with the parents in this pursuit.Because of the mutual commitment between the parents and the church, Parent/Child Dedications are reserved for families who have committed to partnership with Grand Parkway through membership. If you are interested in Parent/Child Dedication, please contact Krista Hood with the link below.

Expectant Mothers

The purpose of our Little Sprouts Ministry is to provide prayerful, loving encouragement and support to expectant mothers. Pregnancy, birth, and parenting a new baby is life-changing and can sometimes be overwhelming. We would count it a privilege to cheer you on and lovingly help you ease into motherhood. Know someone is praying for you and available to you when questions or needs arise.

Someone from our team of “seasoned” moms will enjoy connecting with you, praying for you, and staying in contact with you throughout your pregnancy. Contact Krista (below), and one of our team members will provide you with more information about how we can join you in celebrating and welcoming the precious gift God has given you. If you are interested, please fill out the Little Sprouts Enrollment From.
